Core Brand Elements

The Logo Suite

The logo was carefully crafted to reflect the traditional, artisanal nature of the brand, whilst also representing a sense of elegance. This was achieved through a logotype with a strong handwritten feel to invoke a sense of craftsmanship and human touch. The cursive nature of the logo leans into feelings of tradition that are a core value to Sorso.

Across both variations of the logo, there is subtle reference made back to the coffee products themselves, with the emphasised curves of the first ‘S’ in Sorso creating imagery of steam gently rising from a cup.

The Colour Palette

A delicate blend of cool grey tones acts as the brands base bringing a sleek air of sophistication, contrasted with the vibrant warmth of a turquoise sea blue, and gold inspired by clay and sand. These contrasting colours when paired against the natural grey tones bring a joyful warmth that’s filled with personality to the brand.

Overall, the colour palette creates the feeling of relaxing in the shade of a café canopy whilst the bright Italian sun warms the stone pavement beneath your feet.
